The Social Development department is committed to ensuring that success is achieved by everyone.  Through Sociology, Health and Social Care and Child Care, students will progress in becoming independent learners and will learn skills such as critical analysis, an ability to complete research and the skills to write and produce coherent and detailed essays/assignments.  It is our philosophy that the priority of the department is to encourage and motivate our students to achieve their full potential.
