Outstanding Summer 2012 results!

I am absolutely delighted to announce that JRCS achieved its best ever GCSE and Sixth Form results this summer. Our Year 11 students achieved 57% A* - C including English and Maths. This is 4% higher than last year and a fantastic achievement for the year group.

Our Year 13 students recorded an average point score of 815 which is above both the borough and national average. Our A* - C pass rate at A Level also rose from 66% to 70%. There are many stories of individual student’s success and in next week’s Seagull we will produce a centre page spread detailing many of these achievements and also including photographs of the celebrations that took place.

I want to congratulate all our students who did so well this Summer and also make a point of thanking all the staff at JRCS whose hard work and commitment have been such a huge contribution to supporting these students.
